Catching up on what we've been up to lately :)

So this is me at 36 weeks, wow! I have honestly never made it this far in any of my pregnancies and this was my goal this pregnancy! Yay! We are so excited that we have made it this far and hopefully we will have a healthy baby that we get to take home with us when we go home instead of having a baby and going home while the baby stays in the hospital. I am very thankful that all my other kiddos are healthy now, though, and I know that was definitely a blessing as early as they were born, but it would sure be nice to be "normal" for once, lol!



Now this is me at 37 weeks, whoa! This is starting to get a little uncomfortable! We fasted and prayed that we would make it to at least 36 weeks and now we are at 37 weeks and is it too much to ask that we could have the baby anytime now? I'm starting to think that my body doesn't know how to go into labor on its own and I will have to wait till my water breaks or get induced. I have been walking, jumping on the trampoline, cleaning my house, we even went up to the mountain and hiked around, etc. . . so far, nothing! I have been having contractions, but I don't think they are doing anything right now :(

This is a picture of Felicity and Tyler unloading the dishwasher. I just had to get a picture because Felicity had that towel over her shoulder like she was really doing dishes, so funny! My kiddos have really been a big help while I was on bedrest. We paid them a dollar a week if they would: make their bed, get dressed, brush their teeth, and unload the dishwasher every morning. It was amazing how much that really helped and how much my kids liked helping!

Oh! I couldn't forget, Bret got a new pick-up truck! He has been wanting one for a long time and I told him he could get one after we built our house. Well, he finally got one after we built our house (2 years later, lol). It is a Chevy Duramax and he loves it so he's been really nice to me and as long as he's happy with it, that's all that matters! We sold our other pick-up, it was kind of sad, since it has been a good truck to us, but this truck is pretty nice too! He also got a chip, exhaust, and wheels/tires of course too! I mean if you are going to have a truck you have to make it look good too! lol! This truck should pull our toyhauler a lot better so maybe we could go camping more!
